God Is Good

Yes, She is. I have a new job at the Chicago Public Library. I start in two weeks. This is my dream day job. My dream job involves being able to survive on theater alone, but hopefully this job will let me progress with that. I can quit Kohl's. I have also finished the rough draft of a writing project and feel very good about that as well. This ameliorates the feelings of anxiety that have developed as I face a significant birthday. I have been treating myself royally in anticipation of my larger paycheck and the lump sum I will receive from my current place of work for vacation and summer pay. I'm going to put a dent in my credit card debt and pay off the car. Oh, I have a feeling that in my mind, I've already spent it all. Hopefully, I will never need to look for a summer job again. Damn, I'm awesome!

Rest In Peace, Robert Leslie Bull

I don't say he's a great man. Willy Loman never made a lot of money. His name was never in the papers. He's not the finest character that ever lived. But he's a human being, and a terrible thing is happening to him. So attention must be paid. He's not to be allowed to fall into his grave like an old dog. Attention, attention must finally be paid to such a person.

Arthur Miller, Death of a Salesman, Act I.
