Oh Happy Day

I now have DSL. It took four trips by the phone company (to fix the phone line), two trips to Radio Shack, and over a month to wait for the phone company to make the four trips to fix the phone line, and more treks out to the basement phone box than I care to remember. And oh yeah, it snowed today, making the phone guy and the building super late. Not a big deal, really. As long as I can now download to my iPod, they could have shown up at midnight and I'd have been happy. Well, maybe not midnight, but I was sure happy to see them when they arrived.

I have also joined a health club to do something about my ballooning weight. Hopefully, I will not pig out to compensate. Among my many regrets with Dilbert is that I did not take on an exercise program when he did. A story for another time. Ah, well, here's to more of me on line and less of me in the real world.
